Every plan has a hard limit. We never add usage overages or move you to a higher tier without an explicit plan change.

Questions

Do I have to buy both?
No. Sending is transactional volume (receipts, password resets, the API). Marketing is contacts stored, with broadcasts to that list included. Buy whichever you need. If you need both, the two subscriptions add up — Starter sending + Starter marketing is $54, which is 10% under Resend's $60 combined bill.
Why is this cheaper than Resend?
About 10% on each product, not a fire sale. Resend Pro sending is $20 for 50,000 emails; ours is $18. Resend Marketing is $40 for 5,000 contacts; ours is $36. Amazon SES is one input cost underneath: current accounts can use a-la-carte sending at $0.10 per thousand, while new accounts default to the Essentials plan at $0.16 per thousand.
Do broadcasts count against my sending quota?
No. Marketing includes sending to your list. The sending product only meters transactional mail — one-to-one messages and the API.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Sending and imports stop at the included limit on every plan. Upgrade before continuing. We do not add usage overages or surprise charges.
Do unsubscribed contacts count toward my limit?
No. The contact meter counts subscribed contacts. Suppressed addresses are kept forever so we never mail them again, and they are free.
Can I send from a Gmail address?
No, and neither can any legitimate provider. You need a domain you control with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
